Vincent Polito

Mr. Vinnie Polito has a knack for understanding people. He has translated effective industry Lean principles into strategies that address the specialized culture of Healthcare, and now serves as Simpler^®’s business liaison to the medical field. Vinnie has grasped with acuity the mission and complexity of Healthcare, and has converted his knowledge of improvement techniques into definitive results in health care quality. He was named Vice President, Business Development - Healthcare - Simpler North America in 2007.

Vinnie arrived at Simpler^® to serve as a consultant in 1999, bringing with him first-hand knowledge of Lean principles learned through transformation applications. Over thirty years of leadership in operations, materials, quality and TPS consulting have provided him with a broad base of experience. His Lean education began in 1975 with Cooper Industries, Crouse-Hinds Division Syracuse, NY, including training with Bill Moffitt. He has since served diverse clients including Boeing, Alcoa, National Textiles, Rockwell-Collins, and Institute for Health Care Improvement.

As a dynamic, personable and energetic leader, he has embraced the mission of the health care industry to make changes that impact the people they serve by providing increased safety, efficiency and quality of patient care.

Vinnie is passionate about supporting Healthcare goals. He explains, “Every time I leave with my laptop and briefcase, I know I’m going to deliver change that matters.”
