The Shingo Prize achievement criteria provides framework for identifying and evaluating world class manufacturing and business related competence and performance. The criteria comprise a systems model for manufacturing excellence.
Shingo Prize applicants must prepare an Achievement Report that details key activities and results for each section of the Achievement Criteria based on relevant facts and data spanning a period of three years or longer. Simpler will assist in Achievement Report guidance/analysis, assist in development of a defined project plan (vertical value stream), and monthly gap analysis while coaching and mentoring Leadership.
Facilitator Training is a systematic approach to improve the capability of your people that have been selected by your organization to lead and guide teams through your lean initiative processes and help ensure sustainment. This four day knowledge transfer from Sensei to participant will be through classroom learning, simulations- demonstration, and exercises to provide the participants with the roles and responsibilities of a Lean Facilitator utilizing lean tools, techniques and principles.
